Vikes Lose again Posted January 25, 2010 by Doug Diedrich

Well I am still suprised that we lost that game to the Saints... when Favre threw that last Interception I could not believe it. All he had to do was keep running and then we send Longwell in for a game winning field goal try.

Now true it would have been a long one, but his longest is 57 yards.  Nope instead we have another bone headed play - so now since we last went to the Super Bowl in 1976 - our beloved Vikings are now 0 and 5 in NFC Championship games.

Giant Stroller Recall Posted January 20, 2010 by Doug Diedrich

The Consumer Product Safety Commission have announced a recall on almost 1.5 million strollers made by Graco Children's Products.  The recalled strollers , made in China, are Graco's Alano, Spree and Passage. They were sold in many stores like Toys R Us, Babies R Us, Target, Kmart, Walmart and other retailers.

Apparently childrens fingers are getting cut in the hinges of the canopy when opening or closing it.

For more information on the recall go to www.cpsc.gov or call 1-800-345-4109

Vikings Cowboys and the Weekend Games Posted January 15, 2010 by Doug Diedrich

We are closer to the Vikes hosting the red hot Cowboys this weeekend.  I must admit I am a bit nervous about it. I'm sure we will be fine offensivle, and we should stop the Cowboys rushing attack, it's the passing attack that has me worried.  Winfield's foot is still bothering him, so he is going to be the nickel back - man we can use him.  If our pass defense can hold up, we will be fine. The rookie Middle Linebacker Brinkley matched up against Jason Witten will be huge too.

So with that said here we go- prediction time:

Arizona beats New Orleans by a TD.

San Diego beats NY Jets by 10.

Indianapolis over Baltimore by lass than 7.

Vikings over Dallas by 3.

Guess were gonna find out

Top Signs of The Economy Being Bad Posted January 14, 2010 by Doug Diedrich

Hi All,

Figured you would like to weigh in on the economy so I thought I'd throw out some Top Signs that the economy is bad. Feel free to add your top signs as well ( but keep it clean)... so here goes:

The economy is so bad that:

Hot Wheels and Matchbox stocks are now trading higher than GM.

If the bank returns your check marked "Insufficient Funds" , you call them and ask if they meant you or them.

The Mafia is laying off judges.

I ordered a burger at a local fast food establishment and the kid behind the counter asked "Can you afford fries with that?"

A truckload of Americans got caught sneaking into Mexico.

Motel Six will no longer leave the light on for you.

Have a great day......more to come soon
