Facebook-Virus-Hacker_Warning Posted March 26, 2010 by Doug Diedrich
I found this on MSN.com today. Hackers are sending out bogus emails to Facebook users in an effort to steal passwords and other sensitive information.
The email has a subject line that reads"Facebook password reset confirmation customer support" or something very similiar. Now the email will ask you to click on the attachment- DO NOT DO THAT!!! If you do , it will download several types of malicious software, including a program that steals passwords, according to McAfee spokesman.
Facebook has posted on update on its website about this. The safest thing to do if this shows up in your email- DO NOT OPEN JUST DELETE the email.
