Found this interesting- Should these be Olympic Sports?
Cheerleading - They actually applied for 2012 and were shot down - Maybe 2016?
Golf - Denied for 2012 but they get to tee it up in 2016.
Karate - actually was one of the final two nominees but didn't get enough votes.
Women's Boxing - After many rounds of petitions, they will compete in 5 weight categories in 2012.
Squash - got squashed.
What's next badminton? Oh wait I think that is an Olympic sport.
